I’m on your team, supporting you when you need it the most.
Intimacy and connection are critically important—as necessary as the air we breathe—yet it doesn’t come easy for most of us.
We’re often taught that if we meet the right person, intimacy - both emotional and physical - will come naturally. At the same time, we aren’t taught how to communicate with each other, especially when stakes are high.
I created the Center for Intimacy and Relationships to help people learn how to truly connect. As a therapist, I take a warm, compassionate, and direct approach, offering feedback in session, with lots of empathy and feedback. Over the years, I have learned how to really “show up” in session for my clients.
I bring decades of work experience and a life well lived into the therapy room. Following a varied career of service in healthcare, non-profit and government settings, both in the DC area and abroad, I began practicing psychotherapy full time in 2018. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to couples therapy and sex therapy, and never looked back.
When I’m not in therapy with my clients, I’m offering clinical consultation to other therapists. As an AASECT approved supervisor, and a registered supervisor in Maryland and Virginia, I am delighted to support both new and seasoned clinicians as they find their passion and hone their expertise in relationship therapy and sex therapy. As a lifelong learner and self-identified therapy nerd, I make it my job to bring you the very best care.
